West Bridgford is an affluent and thriving suburb south of the River Trent in Nottingham.  With a host of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and delis, this is one of the most popular, family friendly areas in Nottingham to live. As well as a number of independent eateries, you will also find chains such as M&S, Carluccio’s, Pizza Express, Cafe Nero and more recently the high end shops of Oliver Bonas and JoJo Maman Bebe,.

West Bridgford also holds a regular local Farmers market on Central Avenue.

West Bridgford has highly regarded comprehensive schools in the area as well as several very popular primary schools. The centre of West Bridgford is also home to the popular Rushcliffe library which is a meeting point base for various clubs.

It is a great base for reaching The Queens Medical Centre, Boots head office, Nottingham University and Trent University. Nottingham train station is only 2 miles away and there are extremely regular bus and tram services taking you straight into Nottingham city centre.

Bridgford Park is a lovely Victorian open plan park situated within the centre of West Bridgford, next to the main Central Avenue. The park offers great space and provides a large enclosed playground area for all ages, including a large children’s sandpit. In Spring and Summer the gardens are full of colour and the park is used for various family community events during the summer months.

Recently finished, is the purpose built Rushcliffe Arena, providing gym, sports courts, indoor bowling, various classes and a swimming pool with separate children’s splash/play pool.

West Bridgford is a great place for sport with Nottingham Forest and Notts County football grounds, Trent Bridge cricket ground and the National Watersports centre all within a short distance of each other.
